liking your own pictures

I never understood why some people like their own pictures. I mean it's obviously that you like it since you posted it( it's not like you would post something that you don't like). it's some kind of promotional measurement?

I think it is the new selfie generation and it has stuck with young people and now some others too. I never did care that much for having my picture taken and always wanted out of them as much as possible.

I've no problem in seeing other people liking their own photo on FB but I don't further like my own photos. lol

There are 2 opinions in this case. 1. uploading a pic but not liked at all 2. the pic is liked by at least 1 Social networking websites frequently show pics belonging to category 2. I one of your friend looks 2 pics - Pic A: likes 0 Pic B: likes 1 He is more attracted to Pic B. People rarely see who uploaded the pic but they see who liked it. Who knows this self like can prove to be a good marketing tool? It might seem to be a crazy idea to like your own pictures but sometimes crazy ideas too make sense.
