Exodus

I just watched the movie Exodus. Gods and Kings. And I found it to have a slow start however it did pick up and become quite entertaining. I feel that if you are familiar with the passages that it deals with then you will notice quite a few inaccuracies and possibly embellishments. I realized these inaccuracies and it did not bother me so much as I realized it was just a movie. I think the story got the point across. Of how the jewish people had to deal with such adversity and great suffering, and how stubborn they were on the way. That being said I couldn't have imagined going through that. It sure makes you grateful for everything that you have. The movie went through some of the plagues that invaded the Egyptian land. And the effects and CGI were really well done. I would recommend this movie to anyone and would watch it again. I have access to everything I need and I have some money left over to spend for myself. I have a lot more then 90% of the world and I do truly appreciate it. And if only I can find a way to give back , that would be the greatest joy of my life.

I haven't seen it yet, I've been meaning to. I think points of departure are actually good chances to discuss things-the emphasis being relation being Yahweh as lord of history, acting among the people in his salvific acts on those who could not, that is "we being slaves were freed"-that is, God as saviour, who supplies what he requests-that is, God as redeemer.
