When you arrive at the pearly gates"? The known question James Lipton used to ask in the show "actors studio" from the Bernard pivot questionnaire. So what would you like to hear God say to you and what would you say to God.

I want to hear Him say "Well done, good and faithful servant." As for me, I wouldn't say anything because I would be on my knees worshiping Him who was, and is, and is to come.

I have no doubt that heaven exists but don't think many of us will actually go to heaven. Remember God put man on earth and not in heaven. I have no questions for God as the Bible covers all of my questions.

By the bible God put man on heavenly earth and by his deeds he lost it.

@EllaSpringtime I find this Bible verse very encouraging. Matthew 5:5 (New International Version) "Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth." It seems that only disobedient people like Adam and Eve and others like them that will lose everlasting life on earth.

@1hopefulman By the way, the same idea appears in Psalm 37:29.

I'd demand to know why he hid from us and allowed the wars and the holocaust

@arthurchappell Yes, but what if God uses human beings to help us find the answers in the Holy Bible? He has sent us a letter, the Bible, and used human beings as secretaries, and Jesus told us: "this good news of the Kingdom will be preached in all the inhabited earth for a witness to all the nations, and then the end will come." (Matthew 24:14)- It can be worth the effort to check what Bible verses the human writers have found to answer our questions..

@buenavida that is a magazine writer's answers - not God's.

@buenavida I have read the Bible and other scriptures - a message that causes more trouble than it solves is hardly a solution to anything

I'd like to hear Him say "You were wrong but I forgive you. Come on in."

You'd have to get past St Peter first. As far as I know God's not the one at the Pearly Gates.

As I was reading the title of the post, what first came to mind was what Valerie said-and...it's still what is on my mind.
