Omg you have just put a giant smile on my face! I used to love toys in cereal! and sweets in the middle of your easter egg! and things to collect in crisps!

they put it outside the pack... maybe to prevent kids from choking on it

Yes I know what you mean but I think my nostalgic feelings end when I think about how the toys in the boxes were small and how easy it would be for one of the kids to choke on if they happen to try and dig it out in your absence. My youngest still likes to put things in her mouth and she is very stealthy lol.

I think they were removed as a choking hazard, Sadly the world got more sophisticated but people got more stupid.

@boiboing i dont understand how a child could choke on it, its the main thing they want and everyone knows its in there plus they are usually on the outside of the pack so the parent would take it out for them to play with it unless they were a baby therfore you would take it out and give it them when they are older, people are scared about too much these days, a kid could pick up a pebble in the street and choke on it, heaven forbid. I think being cautious about things is good but sometimes it goes too far
