The celebration is over in the Philippines. I don't know what other Filipinos done the whole day because I was inside my room from morning till now. I know as a tradition of the Filipino Catholics, every Nov. 1, they go to the cemetery to visit their dead relatives or families. As for me, I stayed in the house and pray for my soul, instead of the soul of my dead husband.
Even we pray from morn till night of our dead families and relatives, the blessings will not come to them. Dead is dead. They cannot even hear our plea. What we must visit are those who are in need and we pray for those who are in life's trials like us.
We are just wasting our time, money and everything going to the cemetery and offering food for the dead. They cannot get up and eat those.
This is my own opinion about celebrating "All Soul's or Saint's Day". How about you?
