Do you like the name that your parents gave you?
Had you ever thought of changing your name?
One of the rights that we enjoy long before we are born is the right to be given a decent name by our parents. How do you like the name being given to you? If you were given the chance to change it, would you do it and what name would you give yourself instead?

I agree. I have never liked my name. Very old fashioned and didn't care for it at all. I shortened and mostly only family members know my real name. Changed it when I was a teenager. Named after a naval hero, and a queen.

I will never consider to change my name. As it relates so many things, such as my ID card, passport, graduation certification, bank account etc. The past certification can't be changed and it will make people to feel confused whether this is you. I don't want that. I don't want to create more troubles.

After a word appeared and the word means a girl is very lovely. Interestingly, my name and this word have the same pronunciation. Many friend thinking my name is very cute

True. The character behind the name is more important than the name itself.

Thankfully I like my name. I did find out a few years ago that my daddy wanted to name me Loretta Lynn. She is one of his favorite country singers. Thankfully my mama had the common sense to over rule him.

I'm fine with my name. I always like to tell people that my mom named me after the author "Danielle Steele" and that I ended up liking her books lol.
I hope my son likes his name. He can always go by Wolverine if he doesn't like Logan lol.

I am happy and contended with my name and never thought of changing it. My name is my identity and i am not so choosy about it. Some simple name with some meaning and easy to pronunce is ok for me
