Band practice

Well I am either learning how to control my sound or I am going deaf. Either way the music isn't ringing in my ear after band practice tonight. We have come along way and I am proud of my band but I don't think we will have a show for at least 6 or 7 months. We may be able to handle a small gig but nothing that requires us to have 4 sets. We have a girl singer and the problem with that is that she's pregnant. So she will be off on hiatus very shortly here and then the band will have that time to focus on recording and writing. which isn't a bad thing but it pulls us further away from our goals of playing live. We are ok with this and will work through it, I think we will become stronger when it is all said and done. I believe it will show in the music. So that's that. Another night spent in a small town. Hoping one day to play in bigger cities, and until that day we will continue to march on. Sometimes there is tensions in the band but we work are way through them. Sometimes we fight like siblings but we all et over it. And when we do it becomes a beautiful relationship. And we all treasure what we have. So we live to fight another week. I hope your week goes well and that you pull something out of the week that you can learn and grow from. So until next time friends have a good one

That is crappy luck. Lyrics are one of the most difficult things to do and to have someone take something like that is awfully undignified

Sounds a great way of life GS. I hope you guys can continue to thrive and that one day you will play bigger gigs. I love bands. This week is a challenge for me as my sons illness is taking all my time.
