I'm looking for some good intermediate programming books. I'm looking for some more advanced C++ and Visual Basic. any other good languages to learn? any good books that go into more depth than the basic introductions?

Deitel's C++ How To Program is a good book. It is not too complicated and also not too simple that it dumbs down the subject.

Yeah, that's been my trouble lately. I'm in that grey zone and most of the books I come across are either way too simple or way too complicated. I found a good one on VB, it was the old Micorosoft Certification Exam study book for VB. Explains EVERYTHING (for older versions of VB, but most of which apply today) about VB from the ground up. But, VB is typically easy for anyone.

On C or C++ i will recommend " Let Us C " which is a best book as i think. And for VB you should try out the following grate sites for vb codes. www.vbcode.com

Seems like a pretty fantastic website. I'm browsing through some source code right now on the VB site. Thanks.
