Update about Nameless (Elaine). @destry @Bluedoll @jaboUK @rebelann @Asylum @PhredWreck @PainsOnSlate @Owlwings She just replied to my email I sent earlier. She staged a walkout that included all of 1 person to show her support for the people who are/were owed money on Bubbs. She wasn't getting anywhere by protesting but still doing her job, so she didn't quit, but did walk off the job. She hopes this will have some effect on the site's owners. She thought our concern for her touching... but wants us to quit worrying about her. Edit to add: Excerpts from the latest email I received an hour after posting this first Update... DE: Hon, did you take down some of your bubbles? Your profile page looks funny... ELAINE: Before I went public with my role on B I decided to go ahead and delete most of my personal library. I had already deleted much of it before I went public. That was completely a personal choice having nothing to do with B. My stories are now private as much as they can be. DE: I am surprised since you were always a fanatic about Arvind and Bubbs! ELAINE: OMG, did you actually say I was fanatical about Arvind and Bubbs?? ELAINE: LMAO!!! sounds like you are having a ball!. Please accept my apologies, I did not mean to upset anyone.

@DaddyEvil I'm so glad that you've allowed us to know what's going on with Elaine, Robb. Thank you. I would be slightly worried about her too if she did come here - there are so many people who feel negatively (see how politely I put that) about Bubblews that they might pounce on her as being associated with the running of the site. I HOPE that wouldn't happen, but I wouldn't put it past some people. Of course there would be lots of us to welcome her with open arms, but it would only need one person to be nasty to her to poison the whole site for her. I wrote a post about her over there, and said in one of my replies to a comment that I thought it was likely that she had quit because she got no response from Arvind when she presented him with the list of people who needed paying. Seems I wasn't far wrong, even if she hasn't actually quit yet. Please give her our love, and tell her we appreciate all she has done, or tried to do.

@Berniezeitler I think it is often confusing for everyone. People form relationships in a social setting and get to feel a place (website) is theirs to live in but really it is not. So they want to speak well of where they are and have hope for the future. Sadly they are not in charge.

Well, at least we can agree that is a laughable situation, @Destry . I don't know, but I doubt he ever intended to make the site "work". It looked to me like they fully intended to milk all of us for as long as we would stand for it, party and have fun like they were still college boys and play off their 15 minutes of fame to hook as many marks into their trap as they could.

@destry You know some of those people are our friends. I can't claim to know everyone who is still there, but please remember that the ones I know, I care about very much. Calling them anything other than writers/authors who have yet to find their way to us or some other place they can call home is rude and unconscionable. (I don't mean to appear rude to you or offend you, but I do feel strongly about this. Would you please edit your comment so I (and they) am/are not offended? Thank you.) So they chose to believe in their dreams longer then the rest of us... That doesn't change who they are or what their dreams mean/meant to them, does it?

@Asylum There is still activity... A very low level of activity, but still enough to bring in a small amount of money from all the idiots like me who still have our bubbles up over there. Since Nameless (Elaine) is now gone, I suppose I should delete my own account. I only left it up so there would be a tiny trickle of money so she might have a job as long as they were willing to pay her. (She is/was the sole breadwinner for her family from what I understand when last we talked.)

@destry Elaine wasn't in the loop on those emails, but she tried to find out something about them. She thinks they are automated emails sent to clear the queue that was still pending so they could start moving through to see what all they were really dealing with now.

@destry Elaine acted surprised when I ask her who was the new person I was seeing on Bubbs when I emailed her the other day... She knows I can see a lot that happens there, so she wasn't surprised by that... Now I am wondering if she thought I meant a brand new person. I thought I was seeing Jason working on something to do with the programming, but she said he wasn't there right then. I thought she was mistaken... maybe she wasn't? Interesting... now I am curious...

Well, yes, sir, I saw that last night when I slipped over to Bubbs to see how she was doing. The last time I had an email conversation with her, I ask her to let them have their site to themselves without her as their go between. The people who caused the mess there need to be the ones answerable to their very few remaining writers, not someone whose only contact with that site was a job they paid her to do and gave her no thanks for doing. She advocated so much for the poor people trying to earn there that even Arvind (supposedly her friend) stopped even opening her emails and G+ attempts at conversation. Give me a minute and I will look and see what the date is/was on that conversation with her. Edit to add: October 23rd was the last time we spoke to each other, very early in the morning. I urged her to get out because I was worried something might happen. (I can't prove she left because of anything I said or exactly when she left, but I do think I gave her the final initiative she needed to let them go their own merry way to... uhm... where ever people like them go. I personally wouldn't know.)

@destry @DaddyEvil thank you for the update. I was wondering why her profile page was so very quiet. Deleting posts are certainly a sign of discontent and out is well out. She was helpful in comments to me and her role as a moderator seemed fair though I had this vague idea that someone standing behind her wanted posts about site status silenced. "Posts about Bubblews are boring" some office worker in the Bubblews Multimillion Dollar Corporation wrote something like that in a comment. - joking

The more I think about it, the more I am convinced that proper communication between owners and members can work positively.

@destry I have known her for well over five years. She is the one who dragged me, kicking and screaming, over to Bubbs in the first place. She had confidence I lacked in myself and encouraged me to write what she could see needed to be shared with people just like me. She always has my support and my love, no matter where she is or what she is doing.

Wow, I wasn't expecting that. When my last post ( about cheaters and thieves) there was removed from the home page I asked her what was happening and she never answered. I thought that was "interesting" and I haven't written anything there since but I do go for a quick look and I usually flag 10 to 20 thieves while I'm there and I noticed for two days after my post was push to my page and off the front page those who I flagged were allowed to stay, I though then Elaine must be gone...
