I See Your True Colours Shining Through!

Have you ever met someone and realized they were not being their true self? I have met a few recently that have been putting a fake smile and being all nice but then you can tell as soon as they turn around they are saying negative things about you or people you like.
I am quite perspective, so they can't fool me! I see their true colours!

I have met such in my life and learnt to live with them. It actually funny when they do all that without knowing that you know them and what they are capable of

It can really be a sobering experience to see some people for what they truly are. There are some people who seem like they are a pretty good person. However, there is a more sinister motive behind their actions.
A bright smile to your face could potentially be the prelude to a knife going right between your shoulder blades. Some people are rather two-faced. They say one thing to you, and are an entirely different thing. I've known people like this in the past. If you're around them long enough, some alarm bells come out and their ugly side becomes a part of them. Some people wear a mask so tight I wonder if they even know what their true selves are.

It is good to hear that you have the capability of seeing one's true colour and it's not easy for them to fool you. I also observe people closely with whom I interact in day to day life. I find that some of them are fake, in the sense that when they have to extract some work from me, they will become extra polite and when I ask for them to do a particular work, they will show, as they don't know me or I am an outsider.
However, I feel that we just cannot do anything with these kind of people, we have to just deal with them accordingly.

People like that usually can't hide their true colors very long. Eventually other people would be able to tell their real character.

This reminds me of the lyrics "And I see your true colors...Shining through...See your true colors..That's why I love you". Now am going to YouTube this tune.

hiu@Gudheart oh yes I met just one person like that here on the old mylot and he made me just horribl y miserable . I had bought his act at first, but then he outdid himself and I sp otted the phony in him. He insisted'on picking fights with me and IUketp ignoring him.
Finally he went too far, and in a weaker momenht I retorted to his sly
inuendoes. That cost us both having o ur discussions deleted but the moderator told me she actually did not blame me for losing my temper but she had to stop that war right now.
I was totally ashamed of losing my temper but he was the only one I met that was likke what you describe.

Many people are two faced--especially on the Internet but I will still give someone the benefit of a doubt until they show me otherwise. The only thing I won't tolerate--or forgive--is lying to me.

I have a friend . . Once in a while he borrowed money from me and I don't charged him interests when he paid me back. One day I needed $200 to send to my sister in the Philippines. On our next payday I paid him. He asked an additional 20 dollars coz according to him it was not his money but his wife's. .

I think a lot of people can tell when people aren't being real. I know I can sense it.
