I only change my avatar temporarily for special occasions. I used one for Halloween and may use another on Thanksgiving, but otherwise I stick to the same one.

@wiLLmaH It is an animated gif. It was a popular thing to create many years ago, but nobody seems to bother with these any more. It was made with Paint Shop Pro, although I have not used that particular program for a very long time.

I also changed my avatar last night. The previous photo was taken when my son was smaller. Now he grows up, so I think I need to update my profile photo. And this is why I chose this photo which was taken in February this year in Moscow when we had a travel there.
