1/. Arthur can’t haiku Suffering from writer’s block Note signed by his Mum 2/. Fred Flintstone asking If the dinosaurs believe The Creationists 3/. In my Autumn years Ice age eroding hairline Will I see Summer? 4/. I’m in the river Crossing the bridges before Reaching them again 5/. Think outside the box As it’s only two inches Wide you have no choice Arthur Chappell

@GreatMartin you can suggest other people's posts all you wish - you are just not allowed to suggest your own posts which is what many were doing

it's easier than it looks. It just involves counting syllables. Cat = one syllable caterpillar = 4 syllables cat-her-pill-her - strict format haiku should be non-alliterative and refer to one of the four seasons too but as you can see many writers just have fun with them.
