Well, I try to regulate the AC temperatures in summers, often at the cost of getting some comments from my family members.

The biggest problem is that everyone seems to feel that others should do something about it.
Whenever there is a political meeting on this subject, every member strongly argues in favour of reducing carbon emissions and pollution, yet they return home and carry on as before.
Maintaining a good public appearance does not solve issues.

@Koalemos Well, many countries are moving towards using more of solar energy. Yet, I do not see Developed nations coming forward to help them out.

I think the developed countries are exploiting the developing countries and causing pollution. When the developing countries are trying to find a solution the developed countries are not accepting the solution and they are giving an alternate solution which is biased towards them.

Maybe because everyone wants to prove they're right and often time the solution is almost always profit-oriented.

Yes @cahaya1983, often the people in charge, start looking for their own benefits.

I agree with @LadyDuck. A lot of our current pollution problems have to do with automobiles.

Global warming is caused by human activities that exploit Earth's resources excessively. This is not only related to economic activities but also related to politics. If already related to politics, the conflicts of interest becomes a certainty. And this is one reason for the difficulty of addressing the problem of global warming.
