Is taming pets good or bad?

I agree with you. The pets will be depressed if they are put into the cages all the time. It is no different to be a prisoner. The pets need some freedom and exercises. At least you can keep them indoor rather than put them into the cages.

It is good that we tame some unruly pets that are so aggressive that they can chase or hurt others. But, there are of course limitations on taming cats, dogs, and other domestic pets that we can have. We should take care of them properly and not limit their freedom on cages only. Maybe we can make that as punishment for bad behavior but it would not be cool to just put them on a cage for the rest of their lives. We have pets at home and we give them freedom to roam around and outside the house, and they seem to be tamed and well behaved. I think we should just balance reward and punishment for them.
