Today I had an appointment with my Rheumatologist and I already knew my scrip for Simponi Aria had been approved. And today I would get my infusion, which takes half an hour to do. All went well. I will get another one next month. I am not thrilled with having to take a biologic but I have no other choice. The methortrexate was a disaster, which put me in the hospital with a perferated bowel. No meds are safe anyway,everything has side effects. Before I got RA I never took anything.

I think that is why more people are going with herbal stuff. Nature messes us up in one area, but usually has the fix close by.

True any medication has side effects but it is a chance we have to take to feel better.

The methortrexate did not make me feel better,it put me in the hospital. I just hope this new med works.
