What kind of sickness have you lied about so you wouldn't attend school/work?

No one is 100% honest, we all lie. Small or big lies, we lie. We do it for the wrong things but sometimes for the right things.
Have you lied? "Yes I did, many times."
I often lie about having a fever whenever I don't feel going to school, I'm lazy to attend or I know we won't do anything in the class. My grades are okay, don't worry. I know how to handle my absences, I can do this in school but I don't think I could still do this when I started working.

That's something I've never lied about. In fact I don't know what I've lied about. I'm pretty honest.

Coming down with a cold...that's a standard excuse anyone would accept because the last thing they want is someone there giving them a cold at school or work.
But you have to be careful. There's nothing worse than getting a week's worth of after-school detention, study halls, for getting caught taking the day off school to play golf.
Be careful that the secretary in the office doesn't also mark your sister absent for illness. It sparks curiosity, which in turn initiates a phone call to your mother to find out how serious the situation is in your house, what with 2 kids sick at the same time.

I would also lie i didn't feel good so I could get out of school. Now that i'm an adult and work I don't fake being sick as I'm responsible when it comes to my job and i only call in if i'm truly sick and can't get out of bed.

I tried to lie about having a tummy ache when I was very small so that I would not have to go to school. It was not easy as my father was a doctor.
