Are Millionaires Happier Than The Rest Of Us

I have just been watching the millionaire matchmaker and it got me thinking as to weather millionaires are really happier than the rest of us. These ladies and gentlemen have all the money in the world, with all the toys that comes with this money but they can't find love. It's not because they are not good looking and nice ladies and gentlemen, but for some other reason they just can't find love. No obviously this program focuses on millionaires who are looking for love, but it does make you wonder if having all that money really does make people happy. So what do you guys think, are millionaires generally happier than the rest or us or does all that money not really bring happiness.

Happiness is within ourselves. It is not the money but how we see things in our lives.

@mrtoffee i think it is the wrong thing to think that being a millionaire will makes a person happy and being poor will saves us from the problems of wealthy people. It is how we handle things. It is how we make our ownselves happy.

I don't believe that money buys anyone happiness, of course it is nice to have some money and be comfortable but still look at the rich and famous who divorce and remarry numerous times, that should tell us something.

I have to agree @Marcyaz we see all these famous people constantly going through problems like the rest of us, in fact I would say that a lot of these people have a worse life as the media is constantly analysing their every move.

@mrtoffee They certainly do have a heck of a life as they can't even go to a restaurant without the media there.

Many of them are happier than us, and many of them do not need to look for love. They have a happy family though they have to be careful of those who want to break up their loving family. I think when we want to see real millionaires, we have to look at the shareholders of the companies, including the real bosses of the companies.

In this day and age a million bucks isn't what it used to be. Money can make life easier or harder depending on how you react to the money.

I think that I am happier than most millionaires as they'd worry as to how to keep their millions and pursuing a high maintenance life$tyle LOL

It would seem if you have millions you would worry all the time about someone trying to take that money away from you.

There is no relation of Love and Money. Love have no reason, it happen - it is not let to happen.
