The rain, it's back again!

Rain in our gutter at some point.

So for those east of me, it's raining cats and dogs again, not drops, more like buckets at once, just a heads up. I woke up to this so not sure how long this has been going on, but I have a feeling it's heading your way. I don't know about you but I sleep better when it rains. So I gotta ask, do you sleep with a fan, the tv, the radio? Nothing at all? What noise helps you sleep?

Sorry to hear about the rain, overnight and into this morning, heavy rain here which woke 3 or 4 times during the night. When I was over in the States we had the AC on and didn't bother me, back here nothing,

@Jessicalynnt I think you've had a lot of rain there much the same here, wish it would stop, rain here for the next 5 days a least. I hope it stops there soon. Is it like that in winter there or don't you know with only moving there.

fries with tea? When you say fries I wonder if you mean what americans call fries, which are fried bits of potato, lightly salted?

I like it dark and no radio or TV. The sound of rain is nice though.

Rain helps me sleep the best. No, the sound of the ocean is even better. But this Dorothy doesn't live in Santa Barbara any more. Where in the US are you? We got some rain last week but need more.

@Jessicalynnt East Texas? Fairly near Dallas? I've been to Lubbock and Houston, but never the Northeastern part of Texas. I just peeked. Looks like Houston is both South and East of Dallas.

I think I slept better with the AC making lots of noise because it drowns out other noises.

that one works for me, if it stays on, we usually kick on a box fan and just aim it away from us.

Hello there, I have no trouble sleeping as long as there is FAN of any kind. but there are moments were I don't sleep at all even if it's the typhoon, probably online thing kept me busy.

exactly, we do too, and once you get used to it, it's almost impossible to sleep well without

During the cold seasons I sleep with no noises at all. Our area is very quiet, with the closed windows you hear absolutely nothing. During summer we sleep with a fan.

We were to have rain all night and all day today - its hardly rained last night but it is making up for it today. I don't sleep well no matter what the weather! The ceiling fan directly above my head in bed - no - I won't run it . I don't like a breeze coming down on me like that and I'd be afraid the ceiling fan would come down!

In summer I have the fans going and it does help. In winter I don't have any noise but I do sleep better when it rains, and it rained last night.

I like the sound of rain on our tin roof. Growing up (and now) lack of rain was often an issue so the sound of rain is reassuring to me.
