Waterfall Walk

This is the waterfall we walked along last week. I took this photo in the spring when the water was high. Now it has much less water flowing down, but it is still gorgeous. The water makes its way to the lake along a stream. That's where the mountains can be seen. I love to explore this area.
I have made cards with this image on the Zazzle site. I have other photos of waterfalls there, too.
@Shellyann36 I said I'd tag you and I almost forgot, but I'm tagging you now.

Oh yeah, we sure do @Sheilamarie78 you can see for miles n miles, no trees other than those people plant in their yards.
We do have a few desert dwellers left if the construction workers haven't killed em all.
Ahhh, we have the Franklin Mountains and at one point on Loop 375 on the highest spot you can see Mexico, Texas and New Mexico.
Ummm, you impressed yet You know I was just clownin round, right?

@rebelann Very impressed. I was in El Paso once. When we were first married, my husband and I traveled through there on a road trip.

I find the sound relaxing, too. We don't hear any waterfalls from our house, but we can get to some without much trouble.

Have you ever explored at the top to see where the water comes from? I got to do that in upper Michigan when I was in my twenties. We were near the Great Lakes, but even then we couldn't really tell from whence came all that water once we made it to the top.
Your photo looks very similar to several of ones I have of a waterfall in Maui. I think the ones I have were taken when we explored the 'road to Hanna'.
It would be great to live near enough to waterfalls to be able to walk the area whenever the fancy strikes. Btw, I'm not sure whether the tags/mentions actually work in the posts themselves as the link doesn't appear live. They do work in the responses and comments though.
In fact, it looks like @Shellyann36 didn't see the mention as she's not visited here yet, so I'll help you out.

@MarshaMusselman I have never been to Maui. It must be beautiful. Our mountains are really high. I have been to the top of some, but not this particular one.
Thanks for alerting Shellyann.

@Sheilamarie78 So you mean, the appearance of this Waterfall varies through the year?

It's different at different times of the year as well.

@salonga Yes, in the spring the snow melts from high on the mountain and so there's a lot of water flowing down. After a dry summer, there's still water, but much less to flow over the cliff. During the winter, there are icicles that form at the edges.

@arthurchappell That is a lot of water at Niagara. Too bad it has become so commercialized.

@sueznewz2 It's funny, Susan. I have many photos of the area that I've made products with, but there are only one or two of my photo products that sell and they are not ones of BC. I guess people aren't looking for beautiful photos on that site, but rather places that they know well.

@Sheilamarie78 My best friend here in Ontario is from Kalowna. I flew to help her celebrate her mother's 95 birthday a couple of years ago. It was an amazing trip. So beautiful and different than the east.
