sharing my cake creation

Philippines
November 7, 2015 8:35pm CST
I just want to share the picture of the cake i made for our family friend. A sculpted moist chocolate cake covered with milk fondant (pastillas). The sugar heel is made out of gumpaste. All visitors were amazed with my cake and I felt great knowing that they appreciate my talent. I have no formal training on baking cakes. I only learned from youtube video tutorials way back 2009. Then after watching i tried to come up with my own designs.

@coolpig08 You did such an excellent job on this. It is amazing. I love to bake cakes but the simpler the better for me. My grand daughter loves some sort of stuff to make designs on her cake with. Here we don't have all of this but I am totally amazed and the shoe looks so real.

This is quite an impressive result. I had a work colleague who used to do the same type of thing and has made cakes in the shape of trains and even fire engines.

You got talent, my dear! If there is "you got talent" show in the Philippines similar to those in USA and UK, I suggest show 'em what you got! Your creation is amazing . . . beautiful like its creator!
