I notice that the cruise ship uses Heavenly Soft toilet tissue when I was on the cruise. I like the quality of the product, though I have not seen the brand selling in the local supermarket. As an investor, I am naturally curious about the company that is behind the brand. If they can supply to the cruise liners, they must have made a lot of money. Imagine that nearly 5000 passengers and crew members per ship use the toilet tissue day in day out. I find out that Heavenly Soft toilet tissue is made by Sofidel Group, which is a privately owned company. It is a disappointment since I do not have a chance to buy shares of this profitable business. I guess the Stefani and Lazzareschi families do not need to list the company in any stock market to raise fund for expansion. This just shows that selling toilet paper is extremely profitable that they can expand in so many countries without the need for funding from investors.
