Hello, Good Sunday morning Everyone. I have finally found the little pencil on the upper corner and found my way into making a post!
Yes I am new here so please bare with me. I hope I bump into to old friends here. I have already seen a few of you and hope to see more. I have read a few posts and commented on a few posts but then realized I need to figure out how to make my own (suggested in a thread I was reading that it is always nice to return kind gestures as some people don't post enough) And then again some people post too much. I do hope I can find a balance here. Some days I'm really chatty and other days I just prefer to write.
I wonder does everyone feel intimidated when starting out on a new site? I sure do . Is there a certain amount of words a post needs? I guess in time I will figure it all out.. xo

Yes, that little pencil icon is not very obvious, is it! Welcome to MyLot! New sites are always a little daunting at first but there are many friends here who will help if you feel stuck. Don't feel foolish if you find that some of the questions you want to ask have quite straightforward answers! Most people here have been in that situation (even if they've forgotten or don't choose to admit it!).
I see that @Phredwreck has already pointed you in the direction of my Welcome page. I hope you find it useful and, if you think there's anything missing which ought to be on it, I'd be glad to know. Fresh eyes are often better at spotting what's missing than these old ones!

@destry Will do. I think joining any new site theres a flood of information we get. I do prefer just to read comments and reply to them for a while. But I did manage to write one discussion to introduce myself. Thanks so much for your help!

Well, good morning and hello. Nice seeing you here. Lots of people from other sites are migrating here. You are going to love it here. It is way more fun than the other sites. I sometimes feel intimidated with joining a new site, but MyLot is a veteran site online and I was a member for many years. Enjoy.

you are same Collen who was posting in B town. And there used to be some exhibition you used to conduct and your brother/husband is a musician. Am I right
You can always welcome in any mood here, and we will try to change it from chatty to chatty with chatting 
And well when you will prefer to write we will make you write more.
