Where Do You MyLot?

I have a laptop and at one time I used it in our office. My desk is in front of the window so I can see any wildlife in the woods in front of us. Now that I have Daisy, she is confined to only our living room, dining area and kitchen. Which means that I have to be in there with her. So, I use my laptop on the dining room table and put it away when I am through using it. Where do you myLot? In an office, living room, on the couch or recliner? I'm curious to see how versatile we all are.

We have an office room where we have our two desktop computers, the scanner and the printer. I work on my desk in the office room.

@simone10 You are right, it's better to be careful, poor Daisy she can hurt herself.

@LadyDuck Yes she can and she is so hard headed...lol. Dachshunds are known for how stubborn they can be.

I used to use my office too but now with Daisy, I have to go on the dining room where I can use my laptop and still keep an eye on her. She is still chewing and I don't want her chewing cords and stuff in the office.

I am on my desktop in the living room, facing a wall. The wall doesn't change much, no matter what the season. Maybe in summer a spider will appear. That's about it.

Lol...I used to have my desk facing a wall but always felt trapped or something. I then moved it in front of the window and feel like I can breath now.

Here it is--I hope!!!
Right in the center of my living room so I can look out both the east and south windows. I set up a computer 'desk' of a 9 draw dresser--have my phone on hand, the TV in front if I want to watch it, all and any supplies I would need, my printer, etc.

At home preferably in the master bedroom near the window where I get plenty cool air and a good view of my garden.

I do it in the living room, in my easy chair, facing the tv, so I can watch that too while I am here. I will sometimes do it in bed, but not often, as it is more comfortable in my easy chair than on my bed. I have also done a little bit of mylotting in my car, when I was sitting and waiting for my dogs to get done at the groomers. I am glad that i have options and can be here when I am away from home.

@simone10 When I am home, I do use a laptop. When I am not at home, I use my iPhone to access mylot. It is much easier on the laptop of course, but I am glad that I do have other options for coming in here, when I might not be home, and have to wait somewhere.

Are you using a laptop? I used to take my laptop everywhere with me until I started having battery problems. I really need a new laptop but can't afford it right now.

I Mylot on my bed most of the time. I don't venture down to the living room because my daughter usually has it in a manic mess. I stay in my room most of the time.

@celticeagle Absolutely but there were times when I was like you and would spend a lot of time in my bedroom. I had a TV and my computer in my bedroom so it would be a nice little escape.

@fawkes62 That is probably why I am only online in the mornings. After a few hours, my body gets stiff and sore and I have to get up and do other things.

@simone10 I have an outlet close enough, otherwise I wouldn't be able to sit on my couch either. I wouldn't spend nearly as much time on the computer if I couldn't sit on my couch.

We live in a 2BHK flat, and the smaller bedroom has a desktop on the opposite wall of that of the window. I do mylot there mostly. Now since the renovation is going on, I try to do on our family laptop when I find it free for use. Mostly on the bed, or on the study table in the bigger bedroom.

@simone10 yes that is good in some cases. For us though, looking out of a window means facing another concrete wall. Only one window overlooks a garden of the neighboring house. That's where nature blooms!
