Yahoo Woes

The very first time I discovered I love surfing the net Yahoo had been my friend. Then Google came and the rest is history. However, I still go to Yahoo though we don't have Yahoo Philippines anymore. We're now being routed to Yahoo Singapore. I like looking at Yahoo since pictures really make it more appealing and easier to surf.
Anyway, a couple of years ago they got Marissa Mayer from Google to head Yahoo's return to glory. She still cannot turn around the once giant company.
From an internet surfer's perspective I see nothing wrong. What do you think is wrong with Yahoo?

One of the things Yahoo does wrong, apparently, is spend a LOT of money acquiring other websites, and then not taking care of them so they fail. This is what happened when Yahoo bought Associated Content, the website that I had written for since 2008, and turned it into Yahoo Voices. It was okay for a while, but it was very clear that they stopped devoting any resources to it. It closed down in July of 2014.
