Its a cold morning here

Last night I was out visiting my husband's relative and did a bit of shopping later in the evening. There was a nip in the air then signalling winter. It was nice and warm inside the house, and comfortable in bed.
This morning I woke up to a bleak, sunless,cold day. I was hoping that things would get better as the day forged ahead, but I guess this is how its gonna be today.
I have piles of clothes to wash and this means that they have to be put in the dryer.. which I don't care for. I will wait until tomorrow then.
The good news is the plants need watering once in two days only.. or maybe longer if the weather holds out.
I am glad to have finished my shopping for the week so I don't have to go out in this weather.
I am putting on so nice music so that I won't feel down with this depressing weather.

It sounds like we are having the same feeling about the weather. I woke up with gloomy clouds and soon after... it rained. I was not able to take my morning walk and can't do the scheduled laundry either. So I am just spending my day lazily, lotting and watching TV. I think I just have to take it easy the whole day. The weather makes me feel like doing nothing at all.

@sofssu our weather improved at noontime. I saw a little sunshine as the rain stops. It looks like your weather is really cold so it is really difficult to move and work as much as you want. I learned cold weather helps our brain to produce melatonin hormone so we tend be sleepy an

bless yer heart. the sun shone here today, but 'twas mighty cold. 'pposed to be back up into the upper 60's tomorrow if'n i heard the weather correct. had to haul in a bunch'f plants friday coz'f a freeze. the bigger one's (tree hibiscus) got covered in plastic 'n'm hopin' fer the best they survive tonights chill.

@crazyhorseladycx Its a labor of love true, but its not penny pinching, just throwing away those plants or letting them die is awful. Thankfully our plants live on for years.

@kevin1877uk I usually have very soft music on .. on days like the music is loud and peppy. 
I just had it for a little while.. I get a headache if I have loud music on.

It is still nice here, colder more like a fall weather. It keeps going up and down now. I am waiting for it to suddenly drop and snow before we are ready.

@sofssu every day, some days, like today it's not terrible, I dont even notice unless i think about it, so no meds needed, other days it can get bad

@Marilynda1225 I know what you mean.. I didn't get much done yesterday.. My body was refusing to be active my brain was slow to react.

Today and the last few days have been warmer than average here, though at this time of year that is still only in the 50's. We are supposed to be more average tomorrow with highs only in the 40's. Still I can't complain, it's been a lot colder than that at this time of the year in previous years.

I was planning to have an exercise this morning but when I woke up the skies were gloomy. Maybe later when the sun is up and there's single rain drop. highly unusual to be raining this month.
