This morning, more of the same, of course

I am sure a day will come where there is no gradual spread of sunshine in front of my window, but it is not today. Inside, at myLot, I have met at least four new users already today. Welcome all! I will go for a walk, and get hubby some pumpkin pie spice. He wants to make pumpkin fudge. Planning to go to the market gives me a destination, which improves my motivation for walking. It is a day to write bill checks and get them posted, but first, it is trash day, so I will get to that. I do not really like heavy coats, or sweaters. I bought a new hoodie last week. It is a lovely teal color. It is plenty warm for my morning walks. I buy hoodies and sweaters that are larger than I need so I can layer. I bought a man's 2xl because they fit more comfortably and actually have colors I like more. It also means that when it inevitably shrinks it will still be big enough. I hope you are enjoying your coffee and will join me later when I return.

I do better with hoodies myself, I want things that I can put on and take off easily as I get hot then cold then hot then cold over and over through out the day. I do need more fuzzy socks though, these floors get COLD

I do not like things that hold on too tight and make me feel constricted. I have some wonderful warm moccasin house shoes with a fur lining.

This happens to me too. I've just about given up on jumpers and mostly stick to cardigans which I can button up or leave unbuttoned.

I'll be hitting the grocery store tomorrow to pick up a few things. I've begun walking a little more and more and the grocery store is a great place to stretch my legs and get food for the week. I've been cleaning out closets and found some coats I'd forgotten all about! It's like going shopping in my own house! lol

Fun and economical. A lot of people go walk laps in Wal Mart or at malls.

I can make my day as full as I choose, I guess. I have to get a daily walk in most days.

I saw some beautiful coats while we were away but they would be much too warm for our climate except on the very coldest of our days.

I learned a new word, I did not know what a hoodie is, I searched, now I know. We still do not need winter clothes this year.

Sorry, a hooded sweatshirt jacket is what I bought. I really did not even need that jacket after all when I walked.

I'm not big on walking, but mainly because there is no place to walk unless around the yard .

I got to the market and it was closed. Veteran's Day? Sign said open but doors were all locked.

I like sweatshirts from the Big and Tall Men's section. As you say, they come in colors and they are usually put on clearance. They are long and loose and can be thrown on over anything with sleeves long enough to tuck cold hands into.

And they do not rise up and leave my belly bare. Soft and fuzzy as well.

I'm intrigued at the mere thought of pumpkin fudge. I'll have to do a search on that one, I love fudge.

Enjoy your time doing your chores. I've become quite attached to my one hoodie too and might think about buying another although we've moving into summer so there is not much point buying warm clothing at the moment.
