Which is the best city/town in India to live in ( permanently or temporary )?

that depends upon your interest..if you want to live life witout traffic then i would say Gujarat (ahmedabad)..and if you want to live luxurious life then go Bombay.

I would recommend chennai as a best place in India to settle down. I like the liveliness in chennai. The city will be busy even around 10 pm in the night. People are quite friendly in chennai. The drawback is that people care a damn for cleanliness.
