I love my new boss she is great and she works right with you. I can talk to her about anything and not feel like i'm being ignored. I only been at my new position for a year and glad i made the move.

@Blondie2222 - You are very lucky. Wish your boss is reading your appreciation about her.

If someone thinks that his boss is a stupid, then let him better remember that he would not have had this job if his boss was smarter enough.

I work for my employer and I do not work to please my boss. I know if I work honestly and sincerely, my boss will directly or indirectly acknowledge my efforts. Nonetheless, I've a nice and understanding boss, as of now.
I enjoy my job because I believe in the dictum - "work is worship". I am paid for my job, therefore, I must put my heart and soul in it, this is what I believe.

@Jlyn10 - Yes, you could say that my employer means my boss. I need to maintain cordial relations with him so that work could run smoothly.
Thanks for believing that I'm honest and sincere worker.
It is fine if you do not worship but I am sure you do your work with due diligence and commitment so that you could get your salary timely and could feed yourself.

If you work for your employer, which means you are working for your boss, you are also pleasing him by getting the work done. How can you say that you do not work to please your boss?
Yes, I also believe that you are an honest and sincere worker.
For me, I don't worship my work but I work for a living because I have to put food in my mouth. Work is work and home is home. I am one that doesn't bring home my work. What I do at home is for my pleasure and I don't combine both together.

Yes, you are very right, for you, you need to like your boss (and he needs to like you) otherwise you both cannot pull along. Of course, he pays you handsome salary for your efforts, if he does not, you will run away.

At the moment, I'm a stay-at-home mom. I work for my kids. It's something that I enjoy doing. Some day, I do plan on getting work, and having a job. I would like to do something other than just be a mom. But for the moment, I am perfectly happy just being a mom.

I don't mind my job, but management is aggravating; it seems like they purposely make the job as inefficient as possible. My ideal boss doesn't exist - it would definitely be Gil Favor, the Trail Boss in the TV show Rawhide. He was tough, but fair and honest, and very, very smart. He's also a perfect gentleman, and extremely handsome!

Four years ago, I was work in a dealer of motorcycle for six years. Actually, I love my job as a cashier, but I don't like with my boss. He is very temperamentally, when I have a mistake he always angry and saying not worth to me. Should, he knows that all people can make a mistake, as long as it is not harm of the company, I think he should not angry.

yes I like my boss because I am my own boss i hated having to deal with people who paid me crap money and treated me like I wasn't appreciated so I decided to work for myself at least that way I could make crap money without the abuse. Not always crap money but stuff happens things get slow well you get the idea.

I actually love my job. My boss seems a little spastic but he just stresses a lot. Other than that, I am completely happy with where I work.

@djgarner86 I am horrible with computers, that is why I'm so happy to be married to a network switching administrator. :D My job is journalist, photographer and media relations.... and anything else the military wants me to do.

@Kazemononoke Ha - strange - that sounds pretty varied which is very good and also similar to my wife - she isn't however in the military. I work as an IT Systems guy so servers, networks etc - Similar to your husband I guess. Strange old world. Have a great rest of the day, lovely to meet you :-)

Haha, I think most bosses do that - I can't be doing with stress. Try to plan most things but working with computers, well, that never goes to plan!
