Happy to receive the bills

For all my life, I complain when I get the bills.
I complain about the cost of electricity, water, phone and others.
Now, I change my mind. I am happy to receive the bills.
The reason is that having bills mean I have access to all that make life comfortable.
If there is no electricity supply or water supply, there will not be utility bills.
I rather pay the bills than go a day or a month without electricity or water.
There are millions of people who want the kind of lifestyle that I have. They have no utility bill or their electricity or water supply is not constant.
I am happy for the waste collection service too.
They collect the waste everyday without fail. We pay a quarterly charge for the waste collection and block cleaning.
The block cleaners clean the whole block 6 days a week. We can call them to remove bulky furniture during their working hours.
All these come with a price. They are doing the work that I do not want to do.
If all of us decide not to pay for the service, the whole block will stink of rubbish.
That is why I am happy to receive the bills.
I should not complain since others are doing the work that I do not want to do, and I just have to pay a little sum each month for their effort.

@Jlyn10 If you experience very high utility bill, you better check if there is a water leakage or burst pipe anywhere.
The utility bill should not come as a shock, since we know how often we have to switch on the air con or take the hot shower.

Happy to know that you don't complain about receiving and paying bills anymore. We should always be thankful able to enjoy what we have today. As for me, i had marked down the date for receiving my bills. If i didn't receive any of them on time, i will contact them through online or offline for making payment. It is always important to pay the bills timely. Because the interest incurred for late payment is quite a lot in the long run.

In this case, just cancel the cable TV.
I am sure you can live as well as before without the cable TV.
You can use the money to buy other things as well. I think with the internet access, and Youtube, you can watch many documentaries and movies for free.

That is exactly the way I feel about this. I cannot understand much the people who cry out that they are poor while writing online. That means that they know how to read and write, own a computer and have access to electricity and internet. AND, when you have all that it is because you are dressed and eat fairly enough.
Let us thank for what we have. It is more than plenty.

Yes, I have realize it after visiting places where people do not have access to clean water or electricity.
it really is a privilege to have all the creature comforts.
if anyone complains about the bills, I will tell them to cut off the internet, cancel the cellphone subscription, cut off water and electricity, then they do not have to pay the bills.

I like your outlook. I am currently dreading my first utility payment since I have a safety deposit of about 300 dollars spread across three months. Not a good outlook with Christmas next month, a birthday this month and winter heating costs. But, I am blessed.
