Are you a NaNo nerd? It's an online community that has some grassroots org that get together in the month of November - with the express goal of getting that novel out - by writing 50,000 words before Nov 30. I was really excited to get started this year. I planned to do some fun writing, as opposed to awareness raising - which wasn't the awesomeist topic for a first book. I saw this as a fun way to get my self motivated to write something more - well - fun. Then - the BITE - yes - just like in the horror flicks - a centipede crawled into my bed and bite me under my left breast - near my heart. I drove myself to ER and have been taking care of myself - with the help of some friends of course.
