This picture can't be real but it supposedly is. Gone are the hopes of living on the moon. That faded in the 60s anyway. Looks like Elon Musk is going to be quite happy with this picture. You think humanity can survive in Mars? :)

I've read and seen books and movies on this subject. I wouldn't' doubt that with the proper management of science and technology that it could happen.

Personally I think we are a long way off living on the moon, maybe one day we will have the technology to do so, but by then I think we will have travelled all over the galaxy.

It is a very hostile World with harsh winds and of course, no air. We would have to survive in biodomes while terraforming it over generations - Kim Stanley Robinson's novel Red Mars shows realistically how Terraforming Mars could go - we won't be living there in our lifetime

I doubt it!! We have to create a controlled environment to do so and that alone needs years or maybe decades of dedication!!

@MALUSE I dont know!! But they already are!!! Talks of controlled environment on Moon and Mars for life are in circulations, with Moon's talks dating back a decade!!!
