Late holiday shopping is a really pain to deal with. We usually start early and we are usually done Christmas shopping by Halloween. This year however things are really behind. We just relocated and it took up lots of our money and time. To make things even harder on us we also are in the middle of fixing and remodeling our home so money is even tighter than it was before. So at this point in time we are scrambling trying to get money together and make time by shopping online we avoid lines travel time and well if you spend more than $50 your shipping is free. How is everyone else doing with their Christmas shopping? Are you late on time done with it or already done?

i hope we finish in time because thanksgiving is almost here and that is another holiday that takes up a lot of money with the big feast of food that is cooked.

Fortunately I do not celebrate Christmas, but then Chinese New Year is not far behind. It is a time for shopping too, and the queue is really long. There is a year when we visited the shopping center after midnight, and there was long queues at each cashier too. Most of the 30 cashiering counters were opened.

Oh dear, I have two birthdays to worry about first. But I could never be done by Halloween. Heck, everyone is still changing their minds about what they want on Christmas Eve.

So late this year! I'm like you - usually done really early but this year we had a baby so it has taken a lot of time away from us (and money) so I feel so far behind!

congrats on the baby i hear you the cost of pampers and formula will kill your pocket. Luckily for us we wont have to move again anytime soon. So by next Christmas we will be back on track and ready.

Most people would consider this early. I never start too early as I'm unable to keep gifts hidden for too long from my children. Inevitably they end up finding the gifts and not being surprised Christmas morning. I have done quite a bit of shopping so far, and am keeping most of the gifts hidden in our cars. We have a lot of it in hubby's trunk and some of it in the stow and go part of my van. I'm really surprised at having so much of it done already, normally we have barely begun by this point.

I haven't started. You have a lot of projects with relocating and remodeling your home. I hope you find all you want online for Christmas.
