Sandwich Marina Maintenance

Barge and Crane at the Sandwich Town Marina
United States
November 10, 2015 12:18pm CST
I always try and find something for Mom to watch while I go out for a walk. It's started to get very quiet at the Sandwich Marina, so I was happy that there was a big barge with a tall crane there this morning. It looked like they were putting in new pilings. They looked to be at least 50 feet tall. I was surprised at how far they are put into the ground. While Mom watched, I got in a few miles.

Thank you, I do think photos help us see what the other person is writing about. I love it when people include ones of their area.

I take her out for a few hours every morning. Usually I combine it with look for video subjects or walking. She lives across the street from me so it's no big deal. She actually very good company.

Fortunately your mum is not the nosy type. She does not attempt to go there and direct the workers! If she does, you will see her face in the newspaper tomorrow!

I was very careful to stay far enough away. Your are right, cranes can be dangerous.
