I believe you have to know what is in the lease agreement that you've signed with your landlord before you can have the answers here. A lot of times these drafts are "plagiarized" from the previous agreement and even if you had negotiated differently you might just find yourself on the loosing end if you had not read everything in proper before you give your signature. So do be very careful with whatever you signed up for.

Call the police and find out if there's anything they can do to get you immediate access to the property, then get a good attorney.
