Just wondering if it is my browser or what I should do... When I leave a comment on a post I get a message that says ERROR ERROR time out if this keeps reoccurring contact support. -First dilemma- how do I contact support Perhaps this happens on Safari browser? Or my computer? or to everyone? I also have searched and am unsure of where is the place to contact support? Please be gentle I still wear a Newbie Hat :)

@CRanney I'm also supposed to have a high speed (50Mb) connection but it still happens from time to time, presumably when MyLot's server is receiving a lot of traffic.

@AbbyGreenhill I thought maybe slow internet was the problem but all other websites load normally. I am on highspeed to so it shouldnt be that.

I'd like to know what support says. Don't be afraid to try other browsers to see how they act. If you don't like one can use the other.

@CRanney Yes I got your message. Think you meant P.M. not email. Glad things are working for you again. I had problems a while back with my computer too. You are not alone on that one.

I do encounter that error problem sometimes, all I had to do is to refresh the page.

It is not just you, I also experiencing it. I think is caused by the trouble of internet connection. Usually, I check my internet connection and try to push the button again and usually everything is okay...

I have had it happen before but it was due to my internet connection that just happened to bump me off at that moment. I have never had the problem when I was connected to the internet.

It happens when the server is slow and/or your Internet connection is not as fast as it can be. Neither is something that MyLot can do much, if anything, about. You get the error message when communication between your computer and the server didn't complete properly and part of one of the messages (just posting a single comment may involve several back-and-forth messages) was lost or took too long to arrive. The only real solution is to be patient and to keep trying at intervals. Eventually your response or comment will post.

Sometimes I will have this kind of problem, too. I think it has nothing to do with the browser. It is probably the connection is not so stable or well. You can reload the page a few times and most of the time this problem will be gone.

I have not had that problem so it could be your browser.

Possibly it is the Safari browser, my husband used it and had plenty of problems with many sites.

I have never received that message before. Sometimes if you run all of the updates on your computer it will fix it. Or you can just reboot.
