What does your Thanksgiving dinner usually consist of?

Mine? A lot of traditional things....Turkey of course, cornbread dressing, giblet gravy, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, rolls, cranberry sauce, corn, green beans, deviled eggs, candied yams and LOTS of desserts!

Wow! That's a lot of tasty carbs. We're just a small family, hubby and me and now possibly Mom. This year we're probably having turkey and stuffing and mashed potatoes, cranberry and olives. maybe asparagus, maybe fruit salad and most likely a nut pie- walnuts instead of pecans cause we've gleaned walnuts this year. I make bread each week so that is not a novelty. So probably not having rolls with Thanksgiving.

@happytails Hubby is going to see if he can get the feathers taken off one of our own birds this year- the turkey was butchered a couple of years ago. That turkey probably weighs in more toward 30 pounds than 20 so yes! on leftovers
