What do you think about the stores putting out Christmas stuff before it's even Halloween?

I personally hate it! I know it's so they can make money but really??? I mean you look and there's dracula hanging out with Santa....

I find that a tad interesting, the image of Dracula and Santa hanging out together. "Hey, Bro, I want to smell your candy cane." Santa : "Watch it or I'll put garlic oil in my next candy batch!"

Ha ha...some kids in our local dollar store wound up all the moving Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas toys together. So funny, wish I had brought my cell phone in to take a video. The mixed holiday message making a statement! skeletons, witches, turkeys, santa, teddy bears etc...

I find it to be very distracting. And they pretty much skip over Thanksgiving.

@irishmist True. And yes, you don't see much for Thanksgiving décor any more, so sad...

I would much prefer Halloween decoration first, then Christmas. I don't want the two to interfere as my preference!

@happytails I wonder why they do that?
22 Nov 15
@softbabe44 Well I'm sure it's all about the money. We live in a greedy world unfortunately. So the earlier the better, more profit

@happytails I do not like it. They use to wait until one holiday ended before starting another!

@Marcyaz I went to a close by town today and they already have Christmas decoration up and a big banner across the street saying Merry Christmas! Please let us have Thanksgiving first!

@Margielynn They seem to be doing this earlier and earlier every year so I guess it is the new fad now. Yep, let us have Thanksgiving before Christmas.

@Marcyaz they do it for all the holidays, before one ends they already have stuffing the stores for the next holiday, maybe they call it merchandising!

We why not now they even have a Christmas in July theme in some areas. I personally think it should not be done until after Thanksgiving here in the US.

@happytails I wouldn't want to see it year round either.

@Marcyaz I have seen the 'Christmas in July' events. They are pretty cool but I just don't want to see it year round.

It's a little crazy to see but I do sorta get it since I sell products online for Christmas and some people like shopping very early for it.
19 Nov 15
@Bellatricks I understand but I wish they would just at least wait until after Halloween.

I see your point. But I do like to get started early on my Christmas presentations.

@paigea I do understand though, it's one of the most joyous times of the year! (oops! sounded like a song!)

I don't like it because my Thanksgiving some places don't have anything left. I think it's way too early but there is nothing we can do about it.
19 Nov 15
@whiteream I don't like it either.
