Does the weather affect your mood?

My husband has often commented that I am a nicer person in the summer (gee thanks Mr G @djgarner86 !!).
But I do believe there is some truth in the question. I have been studying peoples faces on the school run - yes I am that boring. Noticing how they look, made up, dressed nice, run down, exhausted, scruffy. It does seem that there is a pattern to each of the judgements depending on the weather outside.
I know I feel so much healthier and my skin glows in the summer, whereas at the moment I feel really tired and drained all the time, my skin looks old and the bags under my eyes are very noticeable. I have very little desire to do anything other than be comfy, warm and cook hot food.
What are your thoughts?

I definitely have less energy when the weather is gray and icky out, and being sleepy does tend to put one in a more negative mood. It might be a vitamin D defiency. Sometimes I will go tanning in the winter just to soak up some sun rays. I don't do it frequently enough to get a tan, just occasionally to lift my spirits.

Yes, it does to me. Rainy weather makes me a bit down. And cold weather, I just want to hibernate.

You could be right. My favorite season is winter and I know I'm always happiest when it snows. I'm not too happy in summer, it's way too hot for me.
