Mykites Warning

Yesterday I was introduced to a site called mykites, it is a blogging site with a similar structure to the old bubblews set up. I joined up and quickly hit the ten post limit for the day. However what I did not notice till the end of the day was the lack of advertising there, and then I got curious so I checked out the top points earners on the site. The top two had both passed the 5,000 point redemption threshold but stopped writing in Feb 2015, that's nine months ago, I guess they never got paid hence they stopped writing. I now plan to close my account there and I have deleted and moved on of the articles I wrote there yesterday to here on mylot. My recommendation would be to give mykites a miss as I think any effort there would be sadly wasted.

Thank you for sharing this, I am always looking out for new things to do and definitely no point doing something that is inactive.

the site looks really nice at first site but when you start to look deeper you realise that it is not a good place to be @mrsg1981 I won't call it a scam, as I have no proof either way, but the signs are not good and I can not find any reviews of the site anywhere which is really odd.

@mrtoffee ya thats a bummer. I started a site called Chatabout and grrr it took me 4 months to earn 5 dollars. I regretting starting and wished I had whatever it took in me to stop. But my brains like-- No you will not take my 40 cents i earned haha!

@CRanney same here, I love to write and chat, which is why I do this but if a site is dishonest I think it is just unfair on the users.

Thanks for sharing that information. I joined MyKites a long time ago but quickly lost interest because nobody seemed to be reading what I wrote. I'm not sure I've got any decent content there, but I might as well delete it and close my account too.

I haven't heard of this site but I don't have time for more than I'm doing now. It's good you can use the articles elsewhere.
