A Human Can Never Knock Themselves Out! / myLot

I know this might seem like a random post, but I found this rather interesting. I was watching a news story the other day about a scientist that said it was impossible for a human to knock themselves out by punching themselves in the head. The reason being is that humans will never mentally hit their own head hard enough as subconsciously we don't exert as much power or strength when doing so. Plus as we are expecting the punch it is less likely to knock us out. It kind of makes sense! What do you think?

My mum did knock herself out while chopping wood. The axe hit a piece of wood that bounced up and caught her in the face. I guess it's not the same as punching yourself, and she certainly wasn't expecting it.

Right. What was I saying? For some reason I blacked out for a moment there. Oh right, yes! Knocking yourself out with a punch. Absolute nonsense!!!!

I don't think I will try, although it sounds reasonable. I wonder if it would be more possible if one were really angry with oneself.

Apparently no matter how angry one was with themselves they can not knock themselves out by punching them self!

I was wondering whether people think that it was true or not, or whether it made sense. I was not actually asking people to try it! LOL I really hope no one actually tried to do it after reading my post haha.
