My Car May Stay Dirty

I just found out the guy that washed my car has to move.He is moving in with this mom right now. Apparently he was late paying rent and the landlady put a lot of his stuff on the lawn. Too Bad, he was a good neighbor, but today he will be gone, no longer a headache to the landlady.Being mostly quiet, with a great Rottweiller, doesn't cut it with the landlady. I would hate to rent. I would hate to be a landlady. Good bye, good neighbor. Good neighbors are hard to find.

We moved so often when we were younger all we did was rent. We bought a house thinking we were going to stay and hubby was ready to leave at the end of the year. When he retired we bought the house we live in now and we will only leave when we die.

I'm sorry to hear this about your neighbor. It sounds like he has fallen on hard times. It's good that he does have a place to go.

@simone10 , I am sure he is not. Someone helped him take his stuff somewhere and someone who looks like they are related talked to him. The guy works.

We only have one neighbor and he is very helpful...of course we don't let him do things for free - he mows the back hill of our property with his big tractor so we pay him, but he helps my husband with other things like the pool cover - we repay him with garden veggies.

I grew up in rented houses. We move once a year on average. Now, I live in my house for over 20 years. I hope I never have to rent again.

I grew up renting as well and it was no fun. Glad to own our (mortgaged) house now.
