No, not at all. I'm fortunate to live in a relatively small town, and I always go to the MVD office in the morning in the middle of the week. I had to transfer a title last week, and my number was called quite literally as I sat down in the waiting area. That's the first time in years I've had to go in--almost everything can be done online these days.

Here in NYC it is a major task going to the DMV. You wait on long lines and you could be there for hours. It's like having to plan your day around going to the DMV. Not a good experience.

I hate to go to the DMV for any reason. The wait seems to be forever and there's something about it that's unnerving. Good luck!

California lines are a lot longer than i'm sure kansas is, so be prepared to wait in a long line...You aren't taking a test but you need to change over so you might need a heads up. Welcome to myLot!

If I had to do what you are doing I would be trying not to fret over whether I'd have to go through a test as well as get the car registered.

I feel your pain. I have spent too many hours in lines there. No matter what they do, it never seems to work.
