There are so many different languages out there, and we can express love in all of them! Love itself have many languages. Some people share love with words, some with acts, or presents. What means something to one won't mean much to the next. I like gifts of time and acts of kindness, doing something for me, that kind of thing. What shows you love? And how do you show love? What words does your language use for love?

I agree with you. Its the small things that you do to make a person feel important in your life that has more impact than gifts. If you make a person feel that you are thought of, you can make that person feel important and loved

I suppose I like to show love by my actions. I can't stand people who are really kind to their spouse on the spouse's birthday but treat them unkindly much of the rest of the time. Respect and courtesy mean a lot to me and are almost synonymous with love.

I show love by helping anyone who needs it..I had ten dollars, kept five and gave the other five away even though i know it has to last 2 weeks.

I often show love by the little things i do for my loved ones. Sometimes I cook something they like, polish their shoes, get a gift or just give them a hug when they need to know they are loved.

I feel our kind words and gestures are the best bet to show our love for someone. Material things are not a very strong way to show our love. For example if me presenting a car to someone close to me make him/ her feel that it is my love for him, I will assume- for him car carries more importance rather than me

I feed them. I feed them and I wash their clothes. I let them choose television programs, and they can eat the food I made for them in clean clothes while watching TV.

Time seems to be a great way of showing love and listening seems to show attentiveness and a lot of love. Those little things mean a lot.

I've always believed that the best way to show love is through action. I like what you said about the gift of time. I think giving our time and attention is a great way to show that we love our loved ones.

you have the truth of it, still I need to hear it now and then, it just means nothing if there arent those actions to back it up

You are right Jessa Lyn, love and smile and affection are universal languages, there is only one way to convey them, make others feel them through your actions

I think there was a study that a smile pretty much means the same thing no matter your language, body languages generally convey the same things

I show love by giving a lot attention, giving something which needed and giving much time to spend with. I love mylot, so I giving a lot of attention by reading, responding and commenting, I also giving qualified discussion and giving much time to stay here longer and make interaction...It is a proof that I love mylot...isn't it?
