In POLITICAL WORLD, do they know the meaning of the word DIRTY?

I am a citizen, follower of the society that is governed by so called POLITICIANS and abiding law always. I don't know why people choose to be manipulated or easily influenced by these type of world. The epic battle of William Wallace took him many years and yet he died because of his principle in life and pure patriotism.
Many movies, documentaries, films etc.,., shows that there are modus operandis and agendas inside the government. There are conspiracies, theories and even in history which portraits or inscribes the term DIRTY to them.. Are they really dirty players or just because they have all the money and they need power? or did you ever think, maybe we're just jealous to them? or we are just not satisfied with there job? ... what do you think? if we think that they are doing dirty like this like that. we also are dirty yet not politicians because we think dirty rather than doing something to help...? I am just curious ... because I have not been through politics... have you???

It is a sad thing that the very people whom we elect to help us, turned out to be crooks who are out to screw us. I am wondering myself whether they started out as genuine nice people who's philosophy and purpose is to alleviate the country's condition or they are really mean scoundrels as we thought them to be... or how the media paints them to be, at the very least. I know this is saying bad against my own beloved country but I have a reached a point in my life where there is no or almost no faith in people who run for public office. I wished I could say otherwise but I doubt what I'm saying is far from truth.

i thought so @sophiecheer, yeah were in the same country.. yet i really dont know whom to vote and whom to be trusted as election grows near.... there are some who;'s principles are real and yet they can not push the right way or teach the right procedure because even at low position officials are tend to be corrupt... and always tempted by it.... so sad..

@nardong_putik Asa Filipino who had always prided herself a resilient being, I have faith that things will turn around. I don't know however if our issue with our government or politics in general will ever be resolved in our lifetime. But all things considered, our people have now become more aware about the mean aspects of political arena and the system of government in general and is slowly making rounds on how to better address corruption. It's a slow progress...baby steps if you will term them..but slow progress is still progress nonetheless.
And about not knowing who to vote right, I think Internet is a very good means of evaluating candidates.
