Do you like to take the credits?

I have seen most of mylot members have a alike thinking. But still I would like to know what they think of this-
Do you like to take credits for what you did for them earlier?
If yes, why. And if not, why?
What are the conditions may be applied to your such behaviour.
Edit - I think I kept it too short for you to understand
Here is an example, If you cleaned my cupboard, then will you tell anyone appreciating the tidiness of my cupboard that it is done by you?
Like in professional life it is seen that people even take credits for things that are not done by them

Well... I threw a coworker under the bus today. He was supposed to do a certain task, and for some reason he didn't. Then he left me a big pile of his work to do when he left. So I did his stuff, knocked out some other things to help out, and sent our supervisor an email letting her know what I got done.
And that would be the reason I'm paid more than him even though I'm newer.
Or did you mean taking credit for things we do in another sense?

@Jlyn10 I swear I'm not usually that bad!
A few days ago, this guy refused to listen to me when I told him to leave a cart of product alone because I was going to deal with it. It wasted his time and mine, because I undid most of his work while doing what I was supposed to do.
With yesterday, the big issue is that it seems like the start of a pattern of shoving his work off on me because "I have nothing better to do." His words, not mine.
Since he's refusing to listen to me, there isn't much else I can do besides bring it to our supervisor's attention. She's already said that she wants to put me in charge of the section he's currently dealing with, so that should be... interesting.
And yes, he really left well before I had a chance to send that email.

Hi
I thought keeping it short and simple will help mylotters but lol I think I kept it too short
I meant to say if you do something for your friends or family member, then would you like to tell your friends that yes I have done this ?
This is something what is done in professional life as well.

How do you know what myLot members are thinking?
If you already know what they are thinking, why are you still asking questions about what they think?
I don't take credits for what I do for people or when I help someone, but if they want to pay me for my services, I really don't mind.

@UR_Forever_Raja What goes around comes around. We help when we can, and sometimes we need others to help us as well.

Most of the members which comments on my discussion has alike thinking. I rarely seen few saying something that is different. Sometimes I feel like I am surrounded by good peoples
See something similar to what sid and SIMPLYD said
WG does that for good cause whatever I read in comics and seen in cartoon, and I haven't seen her asking for money

That depends, Raja.
If I did the work and someone asks who did the nice job on this, then yes, I will speak up and accept the credit for the work I did. If no one asks, then no, I will not be waving my hands in the air and declaring I cleaned Raja's cabinet.
If I am not the one who cleaned your cabinet, then no, I will not take credit for work I did not do. That would not be right, my King. I will not lie if I know the truth.
That is what you wanted to know, right?

@Jlyn10 Told ya! I am surrounded by good peoples
Yes I was asking for the same Mr Handsome
This kind of attitude is not seen where I work I just wish - I had colleagues like Mylot pals
And yes I wouldn't have done any work because I got many to do it for me

I'm a bit confused. Could you give an example of what you mean by "credit for what you did for them?"

@UR_Forever_Raja Right, this makes sense. I would never take credit for someone else's work. It's a silly thing to do, because not only I just made an enemy but I also didn't learn how to do that thing..
Do I take credit for my own work, absolutely. If I don't who will?

@Drosophila That comment was fair enough.
Take the credits for your own work before someone else will plot and make it their work
