A terrorist attack in Paris France has, as of the time of this writing, left at least 128 dead and several more wounded. It has also left millions grieving. As many of you know I usually write something stupid. My wheelhouse are fart jokes and basic inappropriate thoughts (Hey, we all need hobbies). But for today I'd like to extend my thoughts to the victims and family of this horrendous attack. We are with you. Whether in spirit or in person, we stand by the people of France and want you to know that your suffering is the suffering of the world. You didn't deserve this. You didn't provoke this. And you damn sure don't have to suffer and grieve by yourselves. To my American friends I would like to say this: STOP MAKING THIS A POLITICAL ISSUE. I have already seen enough "agenda" on my social media. Currently there are no organisations that have taken credit for this attack. So when you criticize the Muslims as a WHOLE, you are making yourself look foolish. Until we all have a lot more information we just need to concentrate on the lost brothers, sisters, wives, girlfriends, boyfriends, husbands, friends, mothers, daughters, fathers, and sons lost in this attack. Families are suffering right now. They are scared and they are angered. We need to let them know that we care. And not for some nonsense political agenda, but because we are ALL fellow human beings. Their suffering is ours. I urge everyone, JUST THIS ONCE, to be humane about this and not jump to unproven conclusions. I, personally, will stand with France and the French people. After all, they have given me so much already. French fries and French toast, and French kissing are three of my favorite things ever! I'm not sure how many people on MyLot are from France.
