Today is a 3D day for me, or is it 4D?

Well, 3D not as in three-dimensional but as in Ducks, Dishes, and Democrats. At 4:30 this afternoon my favorite college team, the Oregon Ducks, will play a football game against Stanford and I'll be rooting them on to victory (fingers crossed). Then later, there will be Democratic debates (hmmm, does that make it a 4D day?), which I'll watch as long as I can bear to listen to politicians talking out of both sides of their mouths. The third D is for dishes. Yep, somebody in my house keeps on dirtying up the dishes and stacking them next to the sink. Since I live alone, I wonder who in the world could be doing that. I blame the aliens from outer space.

There's an annual surge in their numbers right about this time of year, starting around Thanksgiving. The numbers abruptly diminish to normal levels on or near December 26. Weird, huh.

Thanks, I often give my days a name based on what's on the list of goals for the day. Any day I do laundry is Laundry Day. Today just happened to be a goals list of 3 items, all starting with a D.
