Going to take awhile to hit my stride here.

Have been exploring the site. It has changed a great deal since the days that I was a regular. I have noticed a number of friends that have migrated back from Bubblews. Hopefully we'll all get reconnected over here while I'm relearning the ropes. It'll be nice catching back up with everyone.
Currently I'm preparing for another Canadian winter. Lots of firewood to bring in yet. That means as always I'm extremely busy. Work, writing and chores.
See you all around the lot.

Glad to be able to continue the conversation with so many friends. I would have found it eventually. I'll will spread the word to a few that haven't joined the migration yet.

@TheHorse There is always a few people who will beat their head against the wall hoping that it will stop hurting after awhile. I have a few extended family members to try and lure over here. They'll appreciate it. Eventually everyone will figure it all out.

@koopharper It slightly saddens me to see several good people writing away over there if there were an audience. My last post there got one comment and five likes.

I'm actually not completely surprised to find so many Bubblews people here. The motivation that brought many of us to Mylot way back when has been restored. It was the same reason a lot of us went to Bubblews as well. Once I've found my way here again and am confident, I'm sure a lot of my family members who were writing on Bubblews will follow as well.

@koopharper I suppose it's a sense of community as much as anything else.

I haven't been on here for many years. I enjoy the interaction with others that write. Learned a few good lessons on the other sites from professional writers. It's amazing what you share on sites like these. The friendships are almost as real as the neighbor next door sitting down and sharing a cup of tea. I hope you take the time to write and get to know everyone as you once did. I am hoping to do the same.

Yes! The friendships formed here have not only been useful and interesting to me, they have been real. Fortunately you and I are already a part of this community. Just need to sit down and chat with everyone again.

When I migrated here from Bubblews I was surprised to see so many familiar faces. It's like being reunited with family once again.

Had the same experience when I went the other direction. Some of these online friends have been friends for ten to fifteen years at this point. The Internet does have it's good points.

Just keep checking around. Many of them are using the same usernames. By interacting on the subjects you enjoy eventually you'll find them or they'll find you.

Nice to see you here as well. You've one of those long time online friends. I still have my account at Bubblews but debate whether spending time there at all is worth the effort.
