My mind is a mess right now and I probably shouldn't be writing. So I'll keep this short
I'm sitting at my loves house and I don't want to be here. I feel like I can cry at any moment. I have my nose in my tablet because I don't want to deal with anything.
I feel like a terrible person. I don't know if I should end this relationship or keep trying. I feel like if I give up then I might regret it.
I know I am mega stressed right now about a lot of things and my relationship shouldn't be one of them.
I'm typically a very strong, happy, positive person. And I feel like I lost all that. And I need to get myself back......

But will you regret staying if you don't give up?
Sometimes a separation is exactly what we need to clear our minds and get our bearings in life. It's a lot easier to analyze a situation when you distance yourself from it a bit. And honestly, you don't have to keep trying if it doesn't bring you joy.

Do not stay for the wrong reasons. You will make both of you miserable.

What I tell my daughter when she was in a relationship and was unsure if it was really what she wanted. There were some problems or at least she thought so. I told her to make a list of pros & cons. First count to see which was the majority. If the cons far outweighed the pros, it might be a hint that things may not be fixable.
Then I said, if the list is somewhat balanced or the pros are in the majority, look over each individual con and honestly ask yourself can this be fixed or will this always be a problem. If always a problem, how important is it to the harmony of the relationship. Is it something that can be tolerated in view of the pros.
After honest examination of this list and the probabilities you will have a good basis for the decision to stay of leave. I hope this will aid you as well

@T_gray It is sad when we come to the realization that a relationship is not working for us. It doesn't matter who ends it, it is still hurtful to see something you at one time had hope in and expected to bring joy. But in the long run it is a kindness to let go if you are completely into the relationship emotionally, in that way both are free to find someone whom will bring fulfillment and joy.
