Spreading the myLot word

No site can make its members stay - especially if it lets them down and breaks its promises. We are like butterflies and we flit between the flowers and move on when the nectar is all gone.

Yes, bring them in. By the thousands, the more the merrier!

MyLot is not a site for everyone but the people who it is most likely to suit will most likely be found on other, similar, writing sites. They will be people who will already be somewhat familiar with the concept of discussion and are more likely to be comfortable with the concept of earning [pin-]money whilst doing something enjoyable. I have tried several times to convince others that the idea of online discussion and/or being paid small amounts for doing it is attractive but even those who already write at length on Facebook, for example, seem not to be interested. Perhaps I'm just not a good salesman or perhaps I have the wrong 'angle' but I think that it's more likely that I'm barking up the wrong tree. Many people, of course, are members of more than one site and find that MyLot complements and even gives them ideas for other styles of writing elsewhere. Any site which feels secure in the relationship it has with its members should have no concerns about a great exodus in favour of another site. There is enough room for everyone, I think, and it's only sites which are already moribund which have any need to be worried.

Yes its correct but there are people who appear and then suddenly disappears.

I agree, more friends on myLot only seems good to me. And who wouldn't want to be a part of this site?
